Attractions in the area include everything from whale watching, dolphin swimming, Cultural tours, fishing charters, a seal colony, bird watching tours, bike/walking trails, and hunting, to a new museum and massage therapists.
Some tours can be affected by the weather, so it’s good to allow a couple of days to be sure of achieving that life long experience. There are information booklets in each unit on all activities but advance bookings are recommended especially in summer.
Glenburn Coastal Retreat is just a 5 min walk to a secluded beach with views of Kaikoura and the mountains. There is also a wetland on the property which is home to Pukeko, Hawks, Tui, Bellbirds, Fantails, and ducks to name a few.
